MONTES: Maths Tuition
Not just for grammar school – mathematics with joy, structure and psychological sensitivity
Afraid of maths?
Does even a simple maths problem, or the mere thought of numbers, trigger stress? Does your mind go blank while your thoughts circle only around failure?
Maths anxiety is common and is usually linked to performance and self-worth – but not to ability.
As a qualified psychologist, I know that this fear of making mistakes can seriously damage both the joy of learning and self-confidence.
At MONTES, mistakes are welcome; they become loyal and often very funny assistants.
MONTES always works on two levels: academic content and inner attitude. This approach helps with entrance examinations for grammar school or the Berufsmaturität, supports grammar school students during their provisional period, is well suited to demanding apprenticeships or further education, and also helps older adults with mental fitness or with supporting their grandchildren in maths.

Discovering mathematics with joy
Mathematics opens doors

Game development
Do you dream of working as a game developer later on? Excellent! Then start exploring vector geometry soon.

Architecture
Would you, as an architect, be interested in shaping light, views and orientation in buildings and in integrating them into the landscape? Then start already now with school geometry.

Finance
Would you be interested in working professionally with share prices and finance? Then begin early enough with percentages, rearranging equations, algebra and combinatorics.

Cyber security
If you are interested in cyber security, you will later explore many topics from grammar school mathematics in greater depth.

Medical technology
Or perhaps you are interested in medical technology. Then it is off to grammar school for linear mappings, trigonometry and calculus!

Apprenticeships
Many apprenticeships require solid mathematical skills alongside physics – for your own safety, too…
